This Is Money Down The Drain. Avoid!!!!

I rarely to never feel the need to leave a review but I promised myself that I will do everything in power to ensure this company does not continue operating let alone keep ripping people off.

Before you say to yourself, every company has a good and bad reviews, think about all the paid reviews that wind up on Trust Pilot and similar sites and us genuine ones just get drowned out. If you see a good review it is more than likely someone who has never had contact with Sparkol and video Scribe.

My experience with Sparkol's video scribe was a bad one. The software itself is poor and not fit for purpose, it is clucky and you are better off with something else. Sparkol attempted to take another year's subscription from me slyly and refused to refund me despite clearly seeing I did not use their service for more than a month before giving up. So they literally first me into another contract. Who does that? Despite being a Paypal subscription, they could not help and warned that, companies like Sparkol are a far reach from their other legitimate clients like GoDaddy that constantly alert customers.

Their customer service is rubbish. They have an automated message that sends you to a support website, so you can't talk to them. They claim to be based in the UK but they are also registered in the US. This is shady company not worth dealing with, Stay away!

Poor customer service

I attempted to cancel and refund an auto-renewal for VideoScribe that was processed 3 days into a a 365 day term, for an employee who had left our company 6 months earlier. The renewal reminder emails went to the former employee (ie nowhere). Sparkol would not refund anything. I asked if they could refund a prorated amount (say 11 of 12 months) but they refused. What a predatory company and a garbage approach to customer service!

STAY AWAY - Poor quality software

STAY AWAY - You need to buy the full license to test what they claimed it could do. Upon doing this I quickly found out that it's couldn't. Poor quality outputs, slow, buggy and rubbish. I asked for a refund after 5 days under EU law. They are refusing me.

Under EU rules, a trader must repair, replace, reduce the price or give you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised.

If you bought a product or a service online or outside of a shop (by telephone, mail order, from a door-to-door salesperson), you also have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

Keep well away from this product

Keep well away from this product. They claim to have 5000 images which untrue and they are all different, making it impossible to create to video using a story line. Called Videoscribe within a few hours to cancel and asked for a refund and I am still waiting for a reply. I feel totally conned.

Avoid poor customer service and software

Do not use bad customer service. I found this program very hard to use. After a few hours I gave up and email the customer service that I do not wish to continue with the subscribe and wish a refund which was refused.
